A single-storey rear and side extension with internal alterations to a restaurant.
The owner wanted a wide open area at the back of the restaurant while keeping a central masonry pier to reduce costs. A shallow drainage pipe on site also had to be dealt with in the design.
After completion the client asked for a green roof on the new flat roof, which we made possible by strengthening the joists. Almost everything is possible in engineering.
